The host covers the coffee, the meal or the drinks, and it’s written on the ticket before anyone says yes. Nobody is paid to show up, ever.

The host, always. At a partner venue he pays for the package when he picks you, and Stub holds it until you both check in. At an open venue he pays the bill there, and places a refundable hold of ₹300 for coffee or ₹500 for a meal or drinks. As a guest you never pay for the date and never receive money.
In this first version, men host and women explore. Everyone is 18 or over and selfie-checked. We plan to open hosting to everyone later.
Your date pass comes back to you. The same happens if he cancels or the plan expires without a pick. You can have up to 3 interests waiting at once, and you always see when he’ll decide, for example “Arjun picks by Fri, 9 pm”.
Chat opens once the plan is confirmed. That keeps the focus on meeting, not on weeks of messages that go nowhere. Chat is text only, and phone numbers and links are flagged before the date.
Cancelling 24 hours or more before the date is free for both of you. Later cancellations have a cost, and everyone gets one “life happens” late cancel every 90 days with no mark on their record. The full rules are on cancellations and refunds.
Check-in shows who actually came. A no-show is recorded on their profile as “showed up X of Y”, and the person who came is looked after: the guest gets her pass back plus a perk, and the host gets his money back.
Only at public places: partner cafés, restaurants and bars, or a well-rated public venue (4.0 or higher with 100+ reviews on Google). Never homes or hotel rooms.
